my goal is to not have a car that does this anymore!!

You get the idea.  Stock springs, bigger front swaybar, no rear swaybar, and strange shocks/struts, 295/35/17 hoosier tires

This gives you an idea of what stock springs, strange shocks/struts, poly bushings, bigger front swaybar, no rear swaybar, and 295/35/17 Hoosier A6's do.

The MM arm is attached with a bolt in single shear.  I didnt like that, and I didn't like the way the griggs arm attached either.  So, I tried something different.  It works for leaf springs, so why is this any different?  Its got the two bushings so that each one only has to take up half the movement.

This is an install I found of the MM torque arm that clearly shows the bolt in single shear

I'd have to say that I like yours better.

knew this project was going too good.  Had some setbacks tonite.  I welded two of the three bars with inserts in them.  Tig'd them and turned out great, only I can only get one of the 4 rod ends back in, and I managed to get another STUCK in the insert and CAN't get the  thin back out :suicide:
The other setback is the set of caliper brackets I bought that I thought were for 03-04 cobra size rear brakes except for a straight axle.  Not even close to fitting
bought these

Can you tap'em? Try heating up the other to unscrew the rod end.

I tried heating but it didnt do anything.  Problem is they are right and left hand 3/4" thread.  I have to find somebody with at least the left hand tap

well, I pretty well destroyed the panhard bar trying to get that rod end out so I will have to make a new bar.  Never did get the rod end out since I was lifting myself off the ground while using a 4ft long cheater bar on it.  I will see if someone around here has the tap though.

after a long time of digging and burning out seam sealer I ended up with shock towers that looked like this

Finished reinforcement

Also got taps for the inserts, and the correct axle brackets for the brakes.

Kind of ironic but i believe that orange tc was at CJ07... at the cruise-in. other than that the build is going amazing. Looks Top Notch.

Finally got the right brake brackets

Got the Fuel tank mounts made(man was that a PITA to weld.  Broom handles helped push the sides back out to weld but still couldn't get a couple places right :shake: )
