Engine Fires then Shuts Off / No Power Windows - Help Please Reply #16 – July 18, 2010, 01:08:41 AM Thanks again everyone. I "switched" it out and the bird is back to normal. I have three project Fords, I always count on the Tbird to run so when this happened the other day that feeling of dread overcame me... "How am I going to deal with this right now...? So, because of this forum, I was able to get directly to the source of the problem and make the swap without dicking around. I have two small kids so my free time is next to zero. THANKS. Engine Fires then Shuts Off / No Power Windows - Help Please Reply #18 – July 18, 2010, 06:51:54 AM Hey since you were there, are they rivets? I remember when I was 16 or so, they failed me on saftey because I was starting the car with a screw driver(police impound). I tried to drill these "bolts", or are they rivets?, and ended up getting a new steering colum for some reason. I can't remember why.My bird has the same setup as this, and I was curious what you had to do to get them out, just in case I end up doing it on mine. Quote Selected
