Well, I got a couple things accomplished today.

First, got the battery switched out this weekend. Turns out it wouldn't hold a charge. I thought it was my alt, but I could run the car as long as I wanted, (with the battery light on) but soon as I turned it off, it was dead. Since it was a walmart battery that I've already replaced under warranty after I got the car, I just took it back, got another one free.

Got the fan hooked up properly, through a relay, attached to the battery, and it runs great. However, one problem still bugging me is that the battery light is still on. With or without the fan hooked up. I guess its 3G time!

One other thing that really pissed me off, is I went to change the thermostat, because the engine doesn't seem to be heating up properly, so I suspected a stuck open thermostat, well, I SNAPPED the GD bolt off. GAAAAAHHHH. Which really confuses me because I just did a tsat job last year, so I don't know why it was so stuck. The other side was too, but it did loosen up.

So now my only options are to try to drill it out and turn it out somehow, or to get another lower manifold. . I was not planning on that!!! But, I think the tstat housing will come off if I can get the other bolt off, and maybe I can turn the bolt out with a real good pair of vicegrips. We'll see.

I wasn't laughing.

I like trannys.

I like it when they're full of fluid.

I love to connect them to my powertrain.

I think they should be a part of my underbody.

I don't mind it if they're a little used.

I think its OK if they're old.

And, they're best if they're cheap.:D

It's not really cheap to swap to a V8.

But it's cheaper to build a high performance v-6 car?

I'd think it'd be cheaper to get a used v-8....

Of course, I realize Steve doesn't wanna do a v8 swap, but I'm just sayin'.
