Anyone near Calgary looking for a project car? June 20, 2010, 07:27:12 PM This is sort of sudden but I thought I'd see if anyone is looking for a project car around here. My girlfriend and me are planning to move in together in a few months and I have 3 cars to her 1 As hard as I try to justify keeping the Thunderbird I know that I have no legitimate use for it and probably never will, my 2006 Mustang has become my baby. At present it's sitting in my garage, I haven't run it in a year, it probably needs a new battery and I don't know if the fuel stabilizer is still holding (like I said this is on a whim, if someone actually wants it then I'll make sure it runs lol). It needs body work on the quarter panels but mechanically it's pretty sound. I rebuilt the 302 to HO spec a few years ago with a Weiand Stealth Intake and I put a brand new Holley 650 DP on it shortly before I retired it. I overhauled most of the brake system, new shocks, struts all around, electric fan conversion, B&M Holeshot 2400 stall torque converter, I fabbed a dual snorkel air cleaner for it, HEI distributor with MSD wires, new rad...probably something else I can't remember off the top of my head, really the only thing I haven't rebuilt is the AOD trans. Oh and it's got the rare FMX grill, I put it on a matter of weeks before retirement, the paint doesn't quite match but like I said, project.I'd let it go cheap, my main concern is reclaiming the space and making sure my very first car goes to a good home instead of the crusher. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll provide whatever info you want. Thanks. Quote Selected
