Pics of my 87 Sport Reply #15 – June 09, 2010, 10:17:16 AM Yup if it ain't rusty, you locked on to a great deal... Has the same interior as my old '87 Sport parts car, but mine was so nasty I was almost afraid of contracting some unknown disease... The TC/'88 Sport seats would really look good in it...Unfortunately the digi dash was std in the '87 Sport(then maybe you like it), but I want no part of those things...BTW It has a power antenna, is it missing or just retracted??? Pics of my 87 Sport Reply #16 – June 09, 2010, 11:54:56 AM Thanks for the good words guys. I think I did alright on this deal. I'm looking forward to having the bumper covers repainted and replacing the carpet. It should be pretty nice then. Quote Selected

I just caught what you said about the digital dash and asked about the antenna. Since this car is going to be my DD, I like having the digital dash in it. I am glad though to have an buttstuffog dash in my TC though. I haven't tried the antenna yet. I need to check that out. Since the car doesn't have a stereo in it, I haven't checked the antenna yet. I still smile every time I look out the window at it. :DI checked the power antenna today and it works fine. There were other things on my squawk list I did need to work on that I fixed today. I replaced the broken hood-release cable today and swapped out the broken console lid latch with a good one. After I had done that, I fixed a few other small items that detracted from the driveablilty of the car. After I had all of those problems ironed out, I took the BlackHawk (my TC/5.0 is the "BlackBird") for a nice, long ride in the country. Wow! I love these cars! Now I see why you all are hooked on them. I see what I've been missing all these years. Quote Selected

Pics of my 87 Sport Reply #25 – June 10, 2010, 07:04:56 AM Sweet car.I wish I would've started with a car in that kind of shape, but I thought a salvage yard car needed me.At this point though,I wouldn't trade the Sport for any car. I like the black, you made a good score. Quote Selected
