I thought the base wheel had a separate emblem?
 Mine did anyway  :confused:

The base wheels do have the small silver emblem.

Look at my picture of what I am selling and that is the base wheel horn cap...

I also have a Horn button out of an 88 Sport/LX and it looks exactly like the one for sale on eBay (Happens to be for sale as well!)

That is a TC button...
Reg Buttons have an inset for the the Silver bird emblem (Domed Sticker), And are Larger.

What's with the white ring then?
My TC button(s) don't have that....

Yes, that IS a TC button, but looks like it has been set on or in a base horrn button "retainer"?

every TC Button i've seen has had a White Ring.
It's a retainer piece between the button and steering wheel.

White ring just pops out (Careful not to mar/chip it) of the wheel. You've got to pry it out.

Kind of like a friction setup, Theres an outset "ledge" around the ring and then theres an inset area it snugs into on the wheel. (Hope that makes sense)

The horn button stays in by tabs + turning to lock in.
