First step to HO conversion Reply #15 – May 02, 2010, 08:16:22 PM I took the second step this weekend , I installed a set of factory shorty headers and an off road h-pipe :D I had a little bit of an issue with the column linkage but nothing a little ingenuity and a Dremel couldn't handle . I just have to hook the A.I.R. tube and it is all done . I would like to gripe a little about people over tightening exhaust clamps and distorting the pipes GRRRRRRRRRRRRR. The cat back on the car was almost new when I bought it but I had aheck of a time getting the old stuff out and the flow tubes into the lers . I also would have thought the sound level change would have been more substantial than it is . All in all it wasn't bad for a guy with only one properly working arm ;) Quote Selected
First step to HO conversion Reply #16 – May 02, 2010, 08:21:16 PM How big are your pipes? If you've got 2.25" pipes it's not going to be very loud. Quote Selected
