One thing i wanted to know.... i was reading in the suspention section, the thread about the different suspention setups... and i wanted advise for about a 1 1/2" drop. There are several pictures in there of this, but lots of them you cant get ne more.... so is there anything that I can definatly get a hold of??

So...is it still 2.3T?

Looks good (aside from the 87-88 hood ;) is it functional at least?)

thanx for all the great replys!!!  :D  ( i was in dayton oh all last week) but yeah... its still the 2.3T, im gunna get that thing to run good! I did the foglights after the pics, no the hood is not function but i have all the stuff to do it, just havnt done it yet. and its getting redone on the paint, im pretty shure im takjing off all the weather strips i can, and then doing the two on the bumper red. and a little twist to the grill.... but its all going red. my friends are trying to get me to do the hood black, but i unno..... I bout an exhaust for it today. and i ripped all the old stuff out and i wont be able to start on that again till monday, but it spounds nice w/o a ler     i just got a "cherry bomb Turbo ll"... it was $20, 0r $100, for a flowmaster, so i choose the cheaper. this isnt my good one. i plan on doing a full 3" wen i get the money, i just wanted somethin other than stock for the time being.... and i did my plugs and wires (autolight plugs, and Crane 8mm wires)..... thats all i can think off that i did in the last week to it... but its starting to get underway i guess.... once again, thanx for all the great comments!!!

My personal opinion on that car is to leave the moulding on it.  With that color , having them off or body color would look weird.  They also appear to be in good shape.  You can get paint for the sections on the bumper.  Unless the car is two tone, I think taking them off makes them look a bit "bland".

That's just my opinion though...

Chuck W: I see your point, and its a good one. However, I would need to do something about the chrome strip in it. That part of it is shot. Have u ever heard of, or seen ne one do the body stripping off of the 87-8's? i know the noses arent the same... What kind of paint do they sell for those strips??

Snubz: I am runnin Bridgestone HZi 235/45-17's. (i kinda wanted wider in the back, but I wanted to be extra careful with a 9" rim...) It woulda worked wider, but i did not want my dad to tell me "told ya so!".... Do you have any ideas for the 1 1/2"-2" drop??

Yeah that ler sounds ok, but not as good with a foot of pipe out the cat only  :D  I am not done with it all yet, my tip I bout has two exits on it, and i need a few more tweaks on the tailpipe end for it not to leak....

On my car (that will be back from paint any day now) I'm repainting the rub strips on the bumpers and then I'm going to "refurbish" the side mouldings and the guy is going to respray them to match the bumpers.  I'm either going to try and remove the chrome strip, or at least get all the clear plastic off it so it can be prepped and painted with the rest of it.  Then I'll either leave them or go back with some vinyl and add the accent stripe back in.  The 87-88 stuff won't work....and the lines will not match up with the bumpers.
