I can grab one as soon as the rain stops. or I go outside whichever comes first ;)

Edit:  here is the pic I promised, the cover holds the dome lights and moon roof switch and covers the motor for the moon roof.

Cool thanks guys. The reason I ask is im putting a complete turbo coupe interior (generally speaking) into a mustang and since the car that I think i am going to do the swap in has a sunroof I was wondering what dome light to use. I may not be able to use either one as the mustang roof is shorter so I cant put the first light on there and I dont think I can put the regular light on either.

As for the swap most everything fits w/o any major adjustments. I just did a test fit of the back seats about 5 minutes ago and it fits awesome and making the bracket for it is gonna be kinda easy. The door panels are about the same width and everything but I need a mustang door panel frame and board and then just put the tbird material on that (again shouldn't be too hard as ive recovered DPs before). Front seats are easy as I just need to swap the seat brackets and add power ones from a later aero car or an SN95 car. The dash is just like swapping a aero dash into a foureye car so that fairly easy with the exception of I switched the dash harness with a mustang one. Hopefully I can post pics of the swap if I can keep doing this.

Well I have the back seat in my maroon car and i'll take a pic when my mom gets home (she has the car). I wanted to make the top of the backseat fold but i dont think thats gonna happen. Both the top and bottom fit in the car with out any cutting of the foam so thats a bonus. It will look reaLLY GOOD WHEN IM DONE.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I have no reason to think it's not factory.

If I have a pic its on my old computer :(. It looked good though and since its really close to a aero mustang dash the fit is the same. I an gonna use the woodgrain dash panels though to give it the granny car look lol and it will be funny for people sitting in there cause they'll think the car is slow till I pin it (my dad and I have a high horsepower plan for the car). I had a pic of the front seats when they were in my SVO but those are on the old computer too.

The other thing is the tbird seats are SOOOOOOO much more comfortable than the stockers.

Pre late '86, only flip up sun roof's were available... I've never seen a '86 with a Moon Roof but I've heard they were available...

+1

A little factory sunroof information:

- Dead giveaway is the two round black "dots" on top of the glass, right where the latch is, so that the latch handle could be attached through the glass. That indicates a corporate Ford sunroof piece. Most aftermarkets hid their handle attachments and had a smooth glass area around the latch.

- The dome light was simply moved back to accommodate the sunroof. This included both the base and the map-light styles. Obviously this required a different headliner. I believe there may have been an extended wiring harness for the dome light as well. As you can see, the factory "winged" visors were retained. Only the 1987-88 moonroof cars got the shorter visors.

- Factory sunroof cars had a bag in the trunk to hold the sunroof glass when it was fully removed. The bag had removal and storage instructions (sometimes found on the underside of the trunklid also). The bag was designed to hang on hooks that are underneath the package tray, to keep the glass up from the trunk well and allow storage underneath. Pretty nice concept.
