I can't believe people are obsessing over the ed TRX wheels...

They DO unbolt from the car and they CAN be replaced. You realize this, right?

Barring any underbody rot, it looks like a solid car.

the wheels on it arent a problem as i see it, its finding other wheels to put on it in the meantime so it can move as i gave my spares away with my 86(i had 3 extras for something i was planning on attempting). a car with four flats infront of my house would last 3 hours before the trucks cometh to take it away from the yuppies reporting it.
finding stock wheels in the junkyards used to be cake but i was there today and the only fox car i found had them all gone already. still searching and ill check some more thursday.
i dont want to assume anything untill i physically see it myself which wont be till the weekend.

i literally just saw like tem minutes ago searching for that very reason and was going to call him after the tbird guy tomorrow!
itll cost that much at the junkyard anyway for rims.

i called the guy friday and told him i wanted to come see the car, he said friday and saturday he was busy so he suggested sunday, to which i said fine. come sunday i call him 4 or so times during the day and no answer. no point in calling during the week as i wont have the time to see then. a little disapointed right now would sum up how i feel right now.
ill see how i feel about it by the weekend and if he still has it ill give it another shot, its fair game for anyone else right now.

called this saturday and sunday but the same, no answer.
maybe its the philly thing, probly thinks im gonna rob him or something

its a shame but ive moved on already.
the pics thunder306 sent got me interested and barring any serious rot it was likely a done deal.
the ads still up though...

the guy never answered the phone or returned my messages. i wasnt going to pound someones door down or blow up thier phone for a $500 car, at the time i was up in the air on a few different cars i was considering.

the ad expired it wasnt pulled. for all i know he may still have it. if he did and funds permitted id likely still consider it.
i wouldve rather had that one instead of the tbird i just bought. not that i regret my latest purchase or anything but the whole reason i got into thunderbirds was for a foureyed turbocoupe.
