Papa John tracks down his old Camaro...

He tracked down the Camaro he sold to start his business.  I was a general manager for Papa John's (worked there for 11 years) and I'm really happy for him!

Imagine the guy who became $250,000 richer.  "Hey I think I'll get a new Camaro, and maybe an old Camaro, and aw Heck, maybe I'll get a Hemi Cuda as well."  lol.

Welp, you can like him if you want, I don't. I am a pizza driver on the side, for another independant pizza company. Papa Johns is ruining the delivery business. They started the movement to pay drivers with the "tip credit" program (IE- less than minimum wage, like waiters).

So eventually all pizza places will see that he can do it, and they will do it. Laugh if you want, but I love my night job. The papa johns in my town now pays drivers 5.15 an hour. That is total BS.

Seeing him driving around in that car is a mockery and an insult to the drivers that he's stealing wages from.

Sorry, but it's a sensitive subject for me.

I would imagine that it is up the franchisee if they opted to pay the drivers like that.  The market I was in pays them at least minimum wage + mileage.

Hmmm, if you look at the photo on the left of Papa John in his younger days, the camaro has a sunroof. The photo on the right with the older Papa John, the camaro doesn't. Is the camaro on the right a "clone"? or did he remove the sunroof? If you watch the commercials, it has a sunroof... Must be more than one car.
