maybe since i have enough time on my hands i could pick up the different types of switch consols and make new ones?  all mine seem to curl up or end up having the previous owner put 30 screws in it

I was going to go down to the track at Portland I and wanted to know if he was still around.

Thanks

When are you planning on this? I will be installing my new rearend and rear suspension in 2 weeks and might be able to make it down the line soon. I haven't seen a drop of liquid leak recently unlike when we were last at PIR. My worn tires might add a little traction off the line :p

I was trying to find out about PIR's schedule for drags, or costs at least and the website I found seemed pretty barren. Anyone know the correct site, or if they even post this info up?

I was thinking the 21st and also the 22nd if things go right.

Got a brand new engine in the Bird and it's running strong.  On the street all I get is smoke, I hope to hook up on the track better.

If everything goes well maybe even a shot of NOS but I want to make sure I get it tuned NA first.  With the old engine I ran a 12.8 and I hope to beat this.  I up the compression from 8.5 to 10, ported the heads and have a bit more cam.  Also a 3k stall convertor.

I need a driveshaft loop to race at PIR though...along with figure out my overflow bottle location issue and put the battery hold down back in. Perhaps should also install the 24lb injectors and the larger MAF sensor since they are severely limiting me beyond 4k.

I bought two NOS 1980 t-bird fenders off ebay three and a half years ago that got stranded somewhere in washington thanks to this dude, total flake. Wish there was some contact to find out what happened to them.

I know header would work and I got lots of parts to build them but I just don't have the energy to make it happen.  Also the stock manifolds work so well as far as fit and ease to work on.

The stock manifolds are ported and hogged out as far as I can go.  But I know Headers are needed for the next level of performance.  But it would be nice to say I have a 11 second street car with 3.55 gears and stock manifolds.

I was not trying to start a fight about Mike, I just wanted to go to the track and he's a fun guy to be there with.  I never purchased anything from him so I don't know what it is like to deal with him.

I do hate to hear this stuff because I work very hard to provide my customers with a high level of service (Cadillac Parts) and if people are not happy than I do everything I can to make them this way.  Life is too short to fight over a few bucks.

So just what kind of power are you putting down that you would need a loop for?

Just because the car is shaking like mad at 80MPH in Second....

It doesn't take much to need the driveshaft loop - <14 seconds. With 260~270rwhp and new suspension, it doesn't take a whole lot of effort to get below that.

I never had them look under my car to see if I have one, kind of disappointing since I put a lot of effort to putting one there.  They sure like to test my rear battery cut-off though.
