Tbird in....the mighty ducks!

I couldn't find the thread about our cars in the movies...

Anyways, I was surfing the channels the other day, and I came across the first mighty ducks movie. In the scene after Coach Bombay's kids are mad at him, it flashes to a from-the-street-view of a diner. In the 4 seconds that you see the diner, a Dark Silver (just like mine) 87-88 T-bird is seen driving in front of the diner.

I got all excited, so I went to show my fiance, and she's like "Yeah, cool." and walks away. Sigh, if only she shared my enthusiasm for my car, or cars period.

I just noticed a couple of fox Thunderbirds in Terminator 2. One in the parking garage, and a shell of one in the cbuttstuffs.

I'll add that there's definitely one in Ace Ventura Pet Detective. Eignhorn (if i remember the "woman" captains name correctly) drives an earlier tbird.

I also recall an episode of CSI that had a light blue 87-88 tbird....

Slingblade has 1 tbird, 1 cougar both 4 eye style, the tbird is where carl gets off the bus in the beginning a white one goes by, the second when carl and Frank are walking home when they met, an oxford white cougar is across the street as they are walking...lol knew i liked that movie for a reason

The "Turn of the Screws" episode of CSI shows a bright red 87-88 style T-bird that got wrecked by a runaway roller coaster.

IIRC there is a Fox T-Bird in the first three Terminator movies. I think there's a 1987-88 TC in the third one. The ones you mentioned were in T2. The first movie, I want to say there was a box Fox T-Bird, but maybe it's an aero one. It's the scene right outside Club Noir with the cars parked in the street.

Note to self: try to get DVD versions of the movies you have on laserdisc...it's almost 2010.

i saw that one. its sucked they wrecked one but it looked to be a very basic v6. and it was neat, usually they refer to a car as "the vic's car" but on that episode they always said the "vic's t-bird". that was cool how they gave it credit

I was watching Patriot Games a bit ago, and about 43:30 there's an '85 or '6 TC...sorry for the sucky pic, all I have is paint on this comp...but here it is:

Looks like an '85 Anniversary edition.

BTW, There is a Tbird in the movie "A View to a Kill" driven by a KGB agent.

There are three scenes in T3 with t-birds. The first one is in the big crane chase scene, as connor drives the truck up onto the lawns to avoid the cop cars. that is a maroon 87-88 TC. The next one is the same chase scene on the lawns,, as he hits the bouncey toy and gets onto the street, the childs toy ends up hitting the t-bird, which looks to be an 83-86 cream colored (might be gold) non turbo coupe. The final one may actually be the same car as the first, as it is the same color. After Ahnold makes the hearse into a convertable, they go down an embankment. As they return to the road, you see a glimpse of a maroon thunderbird going by.

I also just saw a newer twilight zone episode tonight. It was called "last lap" and the two main guys were driving around in a Merkur XR4TI... something you NEVER see in a movie/tv show.

In "Lethal Weapon" an 83-86 style T-Bird get cut off by Gary Busey's character driving a stolen Oldsmobile.
