My new Daily Driver...(Body shop pics added) Reply #45 – July 11, 2009, 03:27:28 PM Glad to see you're already enoying the new car. I heard your compression goes up when switching to PI heads on a non-PI 4.6 (Not 100%). Sounds like you're going to have fun playing with this too. Quote Selected

As long as it will still do a burnout, I'll leave it stock. Ain't that the truth. Just replaced the oil filter adapter gasket. What a PITA Quote Selected
My new Daily Driver...(Body shop pics added) Reply #49 – July 14, 2009, 07:54:40 AM New update:here is the leak. Apperantly the thermostat housing was either tightened to tight, or someone was too rough taking the old one out and cracked it right down and almost in half!In this pic you can see where I tried to JB weld it for now... I guess that fixed that leak and made the pressure build and show the one at the thermostat..And here is how it sits for now, waiting on the rest of my parts to arrive today Quote Selected
My new Daily Driver...(Body shop pics added) Reply #50 – July 14, 2009, 12:05:45 PM Nice work, that's how my '94 is looking right now. That car will fly once you get that new intake installed. I talked to one guy who just did a PI intake, head swap and a shot of nitrous and was doing mid/low 13's 1/4 mile. keep us updated. Quote Selected

My new Daily Driver...(Body shop pics added) Reply #55 – July 26, 2009, 02:14:43 PM just got done finishing what a previous owner started....when I bought it, someone had painted the front chrome trim, black (which I have to redo as it wasnt a very good job).... so I finished the rest of the job and blacked out not only the trim, but also the tail light trim and the grill.. I think it looks MUCH better now... Also took a few pics with my buddies '83And yeah... Im rocking the "cool cats" decals.. Quote Selected
