My new Daily Driver...(Body shop pics added) Reply #32 – July 10, 2009, 04:24:21 PM I should have gone with the PI intake when I replaced mine.I had plans to do a DOHC swap with a tune, but working on that engine intimidates the hell out of me. As long as it will still do a burnout, I'll leave it stock. Quote Selected
My new Daily Driver...(Body shop pics added) Reply #33 – July 10, 2009, 04:46:22 PM Yes but I meant there is no point in keeping your stock intake other than saving money. I guess I should have made myself a little more clear. Sorry about that. Quote Selected

My new Daily Driver...(Body shop pics added) Reply #35 – July 11, 2009, 08:43:46 AM I heard that on GMs and CVs with this mod that the coolant tube in the "V" needs to be swapped as well. Good luck. Quote Selected

My new Daily Driver...(Body shop pics added) Reply #44 – July 11, 2009, 03:19:30 PM Well, my PI intake came in today, was $300 from A&A in hamilton. Now just waiting on the PI heater tube that runs under the intake to come in, (yes you need it when doing the PI swap, you also need to pull the waterpump and tap out the nipple that he hose attached to for the proper PI type one. that sounds like it wil be the worst part of the whole swap...) should be here tuesday. Then I can start repairing this thing. Cant wait, I already miss driving it. LOLOne feature I thought was pretty cool was the fact that the seals are molded into the intake.. no gaskets to screw with! This is just to make due and get the car back on the road for now.... then I will be looking into a DOHC swap. I will be going to the track next week to see how it works.. Quote Selected
