I know it's not an LTD, but it does have an LTD nose on it.  ;)

hubba hubba, that is sweet!  Shake a box of fox parts and get a GNX killer.

Hey all Fox cars count! There had to be a Fairmont before there could be the mid-sized LTD since the LTD is a restyled version of a Fairmont.

Oh yeah that is one of my favorites. It even has a w red interior with the 1985-86 Mustang GT dash trim, full gauges, seats and console.

I remember when the LTD first came out in 1983 and I so wanted to see that LTD nose on a Futura coupe body. Glad to see someone has done it. Such a shame that body style went out of production. I always said that should have been the 1980 Tbird instead of the one we ended up with. From a marketing standpoint it would have been better to carry over the very popular basket handle roof of the 1977-79 Tbirds by simply saving the Futura body just a while longer with the Tbird nameplate applied instead.

There's a 2-door Fairmont Futura a few miles away from my house. I look at it every time I drive by, thinking how wicked it would look with body-color turbines and some window tint.

But you still have to mind the rules here. Not too hard.

Spotted a Futura up the road from me a while back, and drove by it again yesterday.  It's parked by a cabin/resort  owned by a high school classmate that I know.  If I bump into him anytime soon, I'll be asking about it.  It's yellow :yuck:  But I need a daily driver  before my Jeep takes its final dump.

A guy near me drives a beat up red LTD LX. I see it fairly often. I figure the poor thing is dying a slow death.

I love the 2-door fairmonts. not the futuras, though. If I can find one under a grand, that'll be my next project.
