here is a video of us going around the track.  Don't laugh at our dorky comments...we we're having a hell of a lot of fun and were as giddy as little kids on Christmas morning.

1984 Thunderbird - 89 302 HO, GT40 heads w/ Trick Flow springs, E303 cam, Edelbrock Performer 289 intake and 600 cfm 4bbl, Mustang headers, Jegs o/r H pipe, Dynomax lers, Mustang AOD and shifter, Mustang 8.8 w/ 3.73s, 3G alternator, Mustang front and rear sway bars, KYB 87-88 Turbo Coupe shocks and struts, and 11" front brakes.

1988 Mustang GT - GT40 heads, Explorer intake, 70mm throttle body, 70mm MAF, Crane 1.7 rrs, E303 cam, Kirban Kwik shifter w/ Pro 5.0 deluxe handle, aluminum clutch quadrant and firewall adjuster, o/r h pipe, Dynomax lers, 3G alternator, aluminum radiator, and 3.27 gears.

I will work on getting more loaded.  I saw the MK VII's one morning when we left but I never saw them after that.  I was going to take pics but never could run across them again.

that cutlass is shaging nice.

an 82-85 cutlass is one of the few cars i would sale my Bird to buy. my mother actually had one that same color and i loved it. was supposed to be my first car but she got t-boned (only needed a door and front fender) and ended up saleing it to some random guy for 75 bucks

If you notice in one of the pictures there is a little kid standing by it looking in the window...I would guess he was about 3-4 yrs old and the top of his little head was about even with the roof of the car.  Yeah it was nuts.  It seems to me that that bug has been featured in Hotrod before...I think they really did call it the "squashed bug".

Thanks for posting the pics. I'm not surprised the Mk VIIs were difficult to find, they usually park far away at the edge of everything for some reason lol. I went last year and it was awesome, maybe next year it'll get closer and I'll hit it again.

If my memory serves me correct that bug is maybe about 2' tall. I'll have to see if I can dig up that issue from out in the shop....
