I had my head hit with a 25# sledge hammer and the guy swinging it wasn't small.

We ran over a chunk of curb in a new build commercial area. We were setting up to do cable through out the area, and couldn't get it out. We decided that the best way to get it out was to pry on it with a crow bar, and then hit it with a sledge. We made it to hit in 8 foot ground rods. Its about 2 feet long, and litterly a 25 pound hammer welded to a hollow pipe. The sledge didn't fit between the dullies, so I got volunteried to hold the dig bar. I was staying as far away from the bar while holding it for obvious reasons. While I was bent over my hard hat fell off. I bent over to pick it up.

The next thing I know I have two guys standing over me freaking out. I honestly though I just slipped and fell over backwards. We put an ice pack on my head and I drove home. Later that night after it started to swell, it bled all over in my hair and ruined my pillow. It didn't hurt at all after it happened. My head was killing me the next day. When i showered I could peel my hair back at least three inches in a half moon shape. A small chuck of hair grew in white, the rest didn't grow back over the scar. I think I'm lucky to be here at all.
