So I'm a bit late responding to this, but I see we have a few Jags on this site.  I'd like to invite the Jag owners over to the Jaguar Forums  I'm K.Westra on there.

Thanks for the link. xjeffs made me aware of xjslovers so sooner or later, I will get in the habit of visiting these two sites.

My car is still going through upgrades and detail work.  I should see it in May.

Love the 6.0L option.  My 5.3L and TH350 leak all over the place.  So much so I'm thinking I might go LS2 T56 when the Cougar's done.  Don't know if the wife will buy into another big ticket purchase though.

I think drivenman sells the 'kits' for that.  Are you thinking about doing the work yourself or having it done?

Mine's got the later GM 4L80E with a 4th gear overdrive, seems to be ok.  The shop fixed one or two small fluid leaks I had but they weren't significant and weren't much to fix so I don't even remember what was leaking or done to fix it.
The car should be done soon I hope.  I'll post some pictures when it gets shipped back to my house hopefully in a few weeks.

I'd do it myself.  I couldn't handle the results of someone else's work because no one will love her like I will.

I found a guy who did the LS2 and T56 swap in his Gen I XJS, so it is well dospoogeented.

I really like the engine in yours.  Looks so much cleaner than mine.
