When you come down for that set of injectors.....I have a set of old 10 holes that would work perfect for a set of slicks if you are interested. Plus I think you need some tuning, it sounds as if the car may be running a little rich with those trap speeds. Quote Selected
Hopefully this year is better Reply #17 – May 22, 2009, 07:57:55 PM First of all, there's nothing good about 2.73's, lol. Secondly, is there a certain class you are running in? IMO, running an HO would require higher rpm's to get moving. Seems you have the HO part now, so the next thing to do is get the rpm's up, either with higher stalls, or steeper rear gearing. Beginning to understand why Mustangs get completely new drivetrains to run the 1/4?, lol. Quote Selected
Hopefully this year is better Reply #18 – May 24, 2009, 04:19:37 PM Yeah im thinking about swapping the 2.73s for something a lil taller but its a lil harder with a daily driver so i'd be stuck withour a car for like the weekend. But other then that the class i ran in was street automatic at the friday night sissy fights where all the school kids take there parents cars or there lil rice boxes to look cool. Im slowly getting the car able to keep up with my fiancees 99 GTP and all she can say is its old like me=] thats why i love her(lil smart ass) but she loves driving it! Quote Selected

On thing at at time though . The car is more of a cruiser/show car so I'm not in a huge hurry to go drag it, but I should be :hick:Oh and I got a sweet deal on a set of 24s from a Lincoln Mark VIII. I got 'em for $35. I still need to get a MAF and then I can swap 'em in. Quote Selected
