last week we were up to 96.7 p/l and for the past few days it has creeped back down to 85.6 p/l which is nice.

I think I picked a good time to buy a car that gets 25 mpg as a DD. Even at $5 a gallon it would cost me $60 to fill up every two weeks :).

Just to say that price here is 1,84 USD / litre diesel and 1,80 USD gasoline. But most of the cars are puppiesans and germans. We had same price as you have right now about year ago.

For all city driving with no highway use yes. Stop and go traffic=bad mileage. It's a lot better than the 17 mpg the MN-12 was getting.

Gas in America can't go above 3.75/g. Minimum wage being like 5 something an hour, nobody will be able to afford it. The economy will basicaly fall because nobody will be able to go to work becuase all of their pay check is spent filling up their gas tank.
Around here gas has been going up about $.03 every 3 to 5 days, the highest i've seen so far is 2.10, 2.05 avg around me. I can't afford it. I'm gonna have to quit my job because it's like 20-24 miles to and from my job.

Federal minimum wage is $7 something an hour not $5. Also gas has, and will again go over $4 a gallon. I've personally paid over $4.75/gallon around town and over $5 in the middle of nowhere. This is a 12 year old thread. Lots of out dated information.

I bought my Prius v when gas was $3.75/gal. Not working out so well for me though.

This thread isnt that old, I mean I was still in high school when it started, now im a divorced 29 year old father of two kids, 8 and 6 years old. Im sure several points are still relevent.
