what size  is the cowl hood?

It's a 3". If I end up parting it, I am fairly sure that I already have a local buyer.

I don't know you personally, but I would hate to see you part it out. My guess is this is what could happen:

- You decide to part the car out and start advertising it
- You easily sell a few key (more expensive) big parts that most everyone wants
- You end up with everything else left and you can't sell it for a reasonable price
- You then decide you want to build it again and regret selling the key parts
- You're left with a car you can't sell that needs key parts you can't afford to buy (for the second time)
- You wish you would have just built it like you wanted to do in the first place

Not trying to pick on anyone, just offering my $.02 worth.

This is exactly what I am going through now. My phone has been ringing off the hook for all the mainstream parts. That is one reason I wanted to sell the chassis first. I have contacted a few old friends to see if their is any interest around right now. I had a local come by last night and it made me actually realize how many good parts are already there. I am waiting to see what happens on the chassis first.

Finally a price breakdown. I am willing to remove parts as needed to drop the price or if you have no interest in those parts. I am losing alot of money and labor here. Add up the parts if you don't believe it. I also didn't add in prices of many little items.
Here's what you would get:

87 TC chassis, former FL car(87-04)
custom rollbar, ART swingouts, through the floor 2x3 subframes(painted black)
smoothed and painted engine bay(copper red mica), most wiring hidden
tinted windows
Viper alarm w/remote pager and display
17x9,17x10.5 black Bullit wheels with Nitto Drag radials
Tubular front suspension w/coilovers
13" Baer brake kit
Flaming River rack and shaft, w/steeda bump steer kit
Maximum motorsports caster/camber plates
Koni adjustables
2.5" fiberglass cowl hood
fuel cell
trunk mount alum battery box w/flaming river shutoff
Steeda 8.8 cover
rear 5 lug conversion
Motorsports aluminum radiator
new dash cap
Etc, etc

Whoever buys the chassis can have every extra body/interior part that I have collected over the years(I will not add in additional money). I have: extra fenders, extra bumper covers(fr+rear), extra TC nose, door panels(2-3pr), taillights(~4pr), dew wipes, stock k-member, extra 5 lug hubs, etc.

$5700 Roller is now $4900

I plan on selling all the other parts outright. I think I scared enough people with just the chassis price. I can't imagine if I added in the turbo system, engine , trans, fuel system.

Honestly, a few reasons. I really don't have the time to work on it. I am losing the desire to work on it.

Also, you can see that I have spent good money on good parts for the car. I sat down and figured out where I want the car to go from here and it just does not make sense to put the amount of money that I want to into the car. It would be an excellent finished project...one of a few like it, if any. It would involve almost starting over and I don't want that right now.
I think I know where you're coming from.  I've been fighting with mine for awhile now between racing and street/daily driver, and am setting it aside for much needed rest....mentally (and maybe if my current DD dies, it'll make up my mind for me, lol). My $.02 is to figure out what direction you do want the car to go to first before anything else.  You may have already done this, I don't know.  Anyway, what make is the tubular K? (stock wheel location?), and how far are you willing to strip the added on parts?  I haven't cut into mine yet.

Sorry, I missed this. It is a D&D k-member and arms. I am going to try to sell as a roller and part everything else. If the roller sits for too long, I will probably start to strip suspension pieces.
