*FOR SALE* Rolling chassis. SOLD SOLD SOLD Reply #16 – May 08, 2009, 09:53:27 PM I don't know you personally, but I would hate to see you part it out. My guess is this is what could happen:- You decide to part the car out and start advertising it- You easily sell a few key (more expensive) big parts that most everyone wants- You end up with everything else left and you can't sell it for a reasonable price- You then decide you want to build it again and regret selling the key parts- You're left with a car you can't sell that needs key parts you can't afford to buy (for the second time)- You wish you would have just built it like you wanted to do in the first placeNot trying to pick on anyone, just offering my $.02 worth. My phone has been ringing off the hook for all the mainstream parts. That is one reason I wanted to sell the chassis first. I have contacted a few old friends to see if their is any interest around right now. I had a local come by last night and it made me actually realize how many good parts are already there. I am waiting to see what happens on the chassis first. Quote Selected

*FOR SALE* Rolling chassis. SOLD SOLD SOLD Reply #25 – May 31, 2009, 07:39:40 PM Quote from: thundr306;270793Honestly, a few reasons. I really don't have the time to work on it. I am losing the desire to work on it. Also, you can see that I have spent good money on good parts for the car. I sat down and figured out where I want the car to go from here and it just does not make sense to put the amount of money that I want to into the car. It would be an excellent finished project...one of a few like it, if any. It would involve almost starting over and I don't want that right now.I think I know where you're coming from. I've been fighting with mine for awhile now between racing and street/daily driver, and am setting it aside for much needed rest....mentally (and maybe if my current DD dies, it'll make up my mind for me, lol). My $.02 is to figure out what direction you do want the car to go to first before anything else. You may have already done this, I don't know. Anyway, what make is the tubular K? (stock wheel location?), and how far are you willing to strip the added on parts? I haven't cut into mine yet. Quote Selected

I am going to try to sell as a roller and part everything else. If the roller sits for too long, I will probably start to strip suspension pieces. Quote Selected
