just a question about the "what's going on" bar at the bottom

how come the names aren't in alphabetical order?  i get that it lists you first, but, and i know i'm lazy, when there are a bunch of people here it would be a little easier to see if someone was online if it was listed alphabetically.......

didn't know if it was possible, but just curious to know :)

Believe it or not, it supposedly takes a lot of processing power to organize the "who's online" list. In the setting on the board's control panel it gives you the option of doing so but has a disclaimer: "Warning: setting this option to YES may cause the board to slow down". As I'm sure you can imagine this board doesn't need any help being slow, so the option is turned off

no doubt :)  didn't know about that setting, but yes, pages are slow enough as it is :hick:

didn't realize that it needed to think that much to alphabetize, but it makes sense... thanks for the reply, and i'll take the extra minutes searching the names so the site doesn't take the extra hour loading the pages :)
