Mustang steering wheel to Cougar

Will my 89' Stangs cruise control sterring wheel direct fit onto my 88 cougar?

My 88's wheel is fubar. I wanna swap my Stangs wheel onto the cougar and still use cruise. Then I'll just get an aftermarket wheel for the Stang since I am gonna swap a carbed Windsor into it and not have a use for a cruise wheel.
