One just like this north of us came all the way down to $1200 before it sold.  Blue with blue interior 120k miles.

Just FYI the guy you bought this from had been trying to sell it for 6-8 months before you bought it.  I was watching it on craigslist.

Not to be a dick or anything but when you said youve sold many on many cars and have experience selling cars... you'd think that you'd clean it up a little better. Clean cars speak to people.

We know our cars on here. For a Semi-loaded 88TC with 188k and fading on the LR quarter and trunk... be happy to get 2700 max with those kind of pics and the mileage.

Im on the block with everybody trying to get somthing for nothing. but why try and get nothing for somthing? I got my 83 cat off of cougarse for 600$ with a wee bit of rust and a couple things needing fixed. with 89.5k on the clock.

thats just my opinion... clean it up some show more than one interior shot and give us a pic of the motor and underside.

what is quoted in red, that is pretty shady. I have bought and sold many cars, none on this site, but that does not really matter. A car is only worth what someone is willing to pay. I dont really car if i sell it or not. As i stated, it is not really my type of car, but, I will keep it before I give it away. Wont be long and there wont be many of these cars in original form left. Most of you people that buy them, gut them and put v8's in them. That will just make mine staying a 4 cyl turbo that much better. This car can sit in my garage next to the mustang for all I care. Just thought I would toss it out there and see.

I didnt mean cover the shape of the car by taken pictures of it wet! Seems like I did dindt it, my bad. Not trying to tell you to be shady, but clean the car up before expecting higher offers.
Your right these cars are hard to find in good shape, I had a black one that was suppose to be my first car that had serious rust in the shock towers you couldnt see from the outside. People are not gonna want to throw any decent amount of money out for something that looks O-K in pics. If it doesnt look good, and theres basiclly no info given, no indepth pictures, your not gonna get anything near what you want. Before I start a war Im not trying to start I will step out.
Good luck with the sale, looks like it is a nice car, just you need to show the buyer its nice. My car looked great in pictures, But after I got into it I saw I got SCREWED, the problems I was told about are nothing compared to what I found. Sorry I just cant imagine buying another car without indepth pics and description of the car.

you try living in tx where one minute it is 90 degrees and the next it is snowing 7 inches, and then right after that it is pouring rain. I know you get snow in ri, but at least you have some idea what the weather is going to do. Those pics were taken right after I got it, and it has rained every day I have had off, or it has snowed. either way, from the pics i posted you can see it is a clean car. Just needed to be vaspoogeed. No matter what, these pics do not make it a 900 dollar car.

In Oklahoma,we have the same weather. One day it was nearly 80,the next,we had snow everywhere, then,up to near 70 the third day.Crazy.I feel your pain.Good luck selling the car.It is a good looking Bird.

its obvious to me that few, if any, in here are serious about buyin this car at any price. if someone was serious, they could see potential in the pics given, make an offer, and easily ask for more pics.

its 1fstcpe's car to sell anyway he chooses. he turned down a $900 offer that included little hint of further negotiations, so what? i would do the same if i received an offer that low compared to my askin price. he even offered to knock off $500. if it dont sell for whatever reason, its his car to keep. why all the hub-bub?

hey guys i get what all of you are saying. truth is, if it were to sell, great, but I dont have to get rid of it. It may grow on me. It is just a daily driver i have right now, while i SLOWLY work on my stang. Never had one of these before. Allways been a mustang person personally. I guess I should not be such a prick as I am new here. dont mean to ruffle feathers and what not.

To the guy in san antonio, no i did not pay his asking price. I try never to pay asking price on a car if I dont have too. I turned down a 96 Trans am with a 6spd the same night i bought this cause the guy would not come down 100 bux. Sounds stupid to some I am sure, but I drove a long way to look at a 97 trans am and it was a 96. They have their differences (96 and 97 trans ams) and though subtle, I feel he could have taken 4k instead of 4100. Then had the nerve to tell me I would be back to buy it. I took the TC instead for considerably less. It is clean and should have taken pics i suppose yesterday after washing and waxing it, but will prolly end up keeping it. As with everything I have, it is allways for sale. I tossed it out to see what would happen, and this all started cause I said I would not take 900. So with that all said, sorry to ruffle feathers, especially being the new guy and all.

Hey man, you just got lowballed and you're sorry? Don't worry about it, we should be apologizing to you! Speaking as a northerner, a lack of rust is key to me. I've trailered cars back to Minnesota from San Fran, Austin, Orlando, etc, so the right guy will travel for the right car. I recommend just driving it for a while. My guess is with the TC performance and with the current gas prices, we may see an ad for a Mustang in a few weeks. LOL. Anyway, welcome and good luck with your car(s), whatever you decide!

I apologize if I seemed like a ass about it.
Hell I wish I had the money cause it looks solid, and id love to have a rust free car to replace this POS rot box i own. I know all about bartering, and people being stubborn about stupid things.
Good luck with it, whether you keep it or sell it.
