Need help with an ipaq

I bought an hp ipaq h5450 from a friend for 25 bucks.  It would be really nice but it's messed up.  It took a 3foot fall and now only part of the screen shows up and that part is messed up.  It has lines going through it and stuff.  I did a hard reboot of it it got a little better but still no cigar.  I know the digitizer is working because when i tap on the screen the line color changes.  any ideas?
