You can probably put the Stang boot over the holes for the Bird and mark them then drill new holes in the metal boot ring so it'll bolt up correctly..

well dad already made a metal plate to go around the shifter hole yesterday and sealed it with high heat tape.  We have a rubber boot on a shifter handle a guy gave to me, so I'm gonna try putting the boot on there and seeing what happens.

So whens the new video? It'll be alot more fun to spin your tires now too. I had a mazda b2000 with a 5 speed. Even with the whole 80 hp stock motor I could chirp 4th. I'll bet its pretty hard to not spin em on a hard launch now.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Ok guys, well the tires on my 8 holes are old and worn out now, so I'm in need of new ones.  I'm also rather tired of the 8 holes and I'm looking for a change.  At first, I just wanted a set of snowflakes.  Then I looked at a set of Mach 1 rims.  After deciding that I couldn't afford a 5 lug swap AND the rims, but wanted a little more change than the snowflakes, I think I found the wheels I want.  They ARE Cobra Rs, and I'm fully aware that lots of people have them, but these aren't plain jane Cobra Rs.  Take a look:

What do you guys think?

Nah, not the look I want.

And yes, I'm using the ripper handle.  It looks tall in the first pic cause of the shadow.
