Project H.o. Questions

That isn't always true.I had the E303 in my engine for a week with flat top pistons (forged flat tops)with no troubles at all.I pulled the cam because I thought It was giving me driveability issues, come to find out,I had lifters bottoming out and not working right. After I shimmed the rockers, all was good, but by that time, the H.O cam was re-installed.SO,the bottom line, the E303 (yes,I know my engine is a roller and the one in question isn't) did work with my flat tops (and will again hopefully in a week if the weather is decent).Tghe only way to know for sure if a cam will work is to to a PTV clearance check.
