i have a 88 bird with a c4 and trans brake full roller 302 e-cam 4:56 gears in the back

uhmm, somewhere between 1 second and 1 minute.

your information is too vague. plus the motor doesnt matter you have to factor in weight, temp, tire slippage, and your R/T

What type of:
heads
intake
headers/exhaust
Traction-Lok or not?
88 Thunderbird LX: 306, Edelbrock Performer heads, Comp 266HR cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, bunch of other stuff.

You might run the quarter in 1:15 or so depending on how quick you are.  Your car on the other hand should cover that distance much more quickly.

Like I said...it depends on how quick he is ;)

1:15 is actually kinda slow.  I ran it in 56 sec WAAYYY back when in the city track meet when I was in Jr High...and I finished 3rd :p

I just figured it was an arbitrary answer to an arbitrary question.

Thats a big carb for such small heads,  what stall converter?
running at what elevation?, slicks or street tires?

slicks and a 3800 not sure about the elevation if any1 has been there i plan on running at kil-kare in dayton ohio

the motor i had was running 11s in a fox gt with 3.73 on slicks

What are you shifting at?
Is the cam installed with any advance or retard?
Pistons? Compression ratio?

I'm curious as to why a 3800 stall on some stock ported heads with an E-cam?  I understand you need a higher advertised stall with numerically higher gears, but 3800?

What does this converter brake stall at?
