Rousch P51A Mustang December 26, 2007, 02:46:09 PM Ho hum another version of the Mustang.Apparently there are enough tastes out there to support more versions of this car.I like the tribute to the fighter plane idea. I don't get wood over the car though.http://www.stangnet.com/Ford-Mustang-News/Roush-P-51-Ford-Mustang-071030.html Quote Selected

Rousch P51A Mustang Reply #2 – December 26, 2007, 03:06:40 PM I'm never big on a fake hood scoop. Leave it a notch if it only needs a notch. Quote Selected
Rousch P51A Mustang Reply #3 – December 26, 2007, 03:16:30 PM I'd personally never advertise "510 HP" in green on my hood either. The wheels rock though. Quote Selected
Rousch P51A Mustang Reply #4 – December 26, 2007, 04:35:07 PM The Roushcharger has to be the ugliest positive displacement blower in existance. You should see what one looks like on a 4.6 3V in person. Wires and hoses EVERYWHERE. Quote Selected

Rousch P51A Mustang Reply #10 – December 27, 2007, 10:30:51 AM Quote from: V8Demon;194631Here! :flip:What ya going to do with that? Rousch got it wrong though. The P-51 behind his car is a P-51D which introduced the bubble canopy. Also the P-51A sucked. The P-51A had a V-12 Alison engine which sucked at high altitude. It wasn't untill the P-51B and the introduction of the Merlin V-12 in the P-51 line that the P-51 became one of the greatest fighters ever. Quote Selected
Rousch P51A Mustang Reply #11 – December 27, 2007, 10:38:49 AM On a related note after reading the article it said that the 357th was the 3rd highest ranking 8th airforce squadrin in kills. Did you know that the highest ranking squadrin, the 356th figher group nick named the "Wolfpack" didn't fly P-51s? They flew Republic Aviation P-47 Thunderbolts Quote Selected

Rousch P51A Mustang Reply #13 – December 28, 2007, 12:21:57 AM Wonder what the price will be? I bet $65K - $75. Quote Selected
Rousch P51A Mustang Reply #14 – December 28, 2007, 01:14:55 AM hopefully it won't be anywhere close to airplane prices. And green on sliver is overkill maybe a Grey and Green color combo if they make 100 of them +100 for usa bulit rice killers.1 idea if the price gets to high throw in a LED street kill scoreboard.
