I bet there there is no firehawk tracks going out the driveway. What's hanging down in the front of the last pic?,looks like red wires. We got twins now Jerry, except the wheel and tires.

I pulled the cooler off the aod temporarily. Its the extra slack in the lines

At 40 posts per page, I've read thru the last 83 pages on the edge of my seat. Great job saving this car, most would have walked away and let it go to the s yard. I'm also taking notes for my next project and I don't feel as reserved to get a 4 eye bird in rough condition.

Looks good. You have a gear indicator on the dash correct? What do the other two switches in in the Turbo Coupe antenna plate do ;)? I have one I'm thinking about installing myself. I'm trying to figure out what to make the other switches control.
88 Thunderbird LX: 306, Edelbrock Performer heads, Comp 266HR cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, bunch of other stuff.

1 I'm thinking of making an ignition cutoff switch....so obvious no one will ever think to flick the switch to start the car..  I'm also connecting the shifter to the dash gear selector.. needed my boot to see how much room I have to put the old console selector plate on under with some mods to connect to the dash with a cable.

the other switches..... I'm not sure,,, I remember wanting them for some reason 4 years ago.... lol

If it helps, Jerry...I know that GM G-bodies had a long cable from the floor shifter to the dash gear indicator. You can definitely fab something up.
