Nice thing is, alot of this applies to any old car and rebuilding.  My old Mercury is gonna require a whole bunch of custom sheet metal.  Referencing this thread will prove that body work and sheet metal replacement is not limited to only classic cars. ;) and should be a confidence builder for anyone thinking they can't try it.    Jerry for inspiration.  :jerry:

Hey Doc,I can't wait to see this thing ready for an engine and some paint.It's like watching one of those long mini-series on TV.This is way better than those American Chopper type shows.All the cool work without a dumb-A$$ yelling all the time......at least not where we can hear it.LOL.

No yelling, just a lot of cutting and welding on this car. I'm planning to also do a video series on my next project When that happens (they always do ;) ). That should be as much work as the car work.

5.0 HO 306 roller block, machined GT-40P heads, Wiseco dished forged pistons, Eagle forged floating I-beam connecting rods, Lunati pushrods, ARP bolts, Scorpion aluminum 1.6 rockers, Comp Cams Magnum 266HR, Explorer intake, 65mm TB, MAF Conversion, 19# injectors, Ford Racing stainless P-headers, 2-1/2" cat-less exhaust w/ Flowtech Afterburner lers , SC AOD with 2800 BDR torque converter, 3.73 T-Lok rear, CHE rear control arms, full 2-1/2" frame w/1" jacking rails & seat supports, Rear disk brakes, Turbine wheels, All original interior w/ floor shift upgrade .......
Pretty much every panel on my 87 is new, rebuilt, or re constructed. :D

Camera,tri-pod,a couple of extra hands on occassion,and a hot chick (remember Tool time?).You are right though,filming would take a lot of extra time,but well worth it.
