doesn't feel right to me. it sounds to well planned out for him to not be in the state. everything seems to feel generic with that reply. mostly the words "state" and "shipper", instead of "home/area" and "someone" which would be more personal to him.

Well it's a scam....

Hi Herb,
How are you doing, Hope everything is going on fine. As a matter of fact the deal is on and the check has been sent out to you (it will arrive by mail).So the payment should arrive in a short while from now. And once you get it,i guess you know how to handle everything, please dont bother about any other buyer for the 2003 mach one wheels - $1000  but there has been a new development. I have included the pick up agents fee to yours, making it $4000 cause i am travelling out of town today because of my wife who is on business trip and she is about to deliver a baby so i have to go stay with her, so i will be back very soon. I included the pickup agent fee because he is bringing down some items for me  so when you have the check deduct your own fees and have the remaining money sent to him  through Western union money transfer immediately after cashing it so that he can come for the pick up in your place .So when you recieve the check, take it to to your bank and have it cashed  so as to fasting the transaction,  deduct $50 for your self for running the erand ok.
please mail me ASAP so as to let me know i can trust you handle this with care.Thanks for your trust and understanding.

and what sucks is...SO many innocent people have been caught up in this kinda stuff.

Glad that you didn't fall for it, my friends got ripped on a money scam...their bank account got drained right before christmas 2 years ago...they're still making f'cking payments over that.

F'cking scandalous  scammers anyway...:mad:

Hobby?I have too many.The car,model cars (when it's too cold outside),stuff with the kids,"honey do's" from the wife,etc.My mind is winding down for the evening.That whole scam list was my last burst of wild energy for the day.I've been up sice 3:00 this morning,and it's catching up with me.Oh,by the way,it's still a scam.

I got a few of those stupid scams when i was selling my escort. Any email you get, arrange a meet with the person, if they say they cant, ignore them.

Mods to come: Fully rebuilt and heavily modded 46RE, and a richmond rachet locker.
