rebuilt my motor Reply #2 – December 10, 2007, 09:28:09 PM Sounds like a nice combination, but please put some lers on it! Nice looking engine bay. I would go with a 3.73 or 4.11, depends on what type of driving you will be doing. I am no good at guessing hp.Jim Quote Selected

rebuilt my motor Reply #7 – December 11, 2007, 01:00:50 PM Thanks guysYes now that I figured out youtube ill try and get more video of my car what you saw wasn’t intended for the engine running it was actually for the taillights but I figured while I’m filming I might as well have the engine running. I installed them thanksgiving morning that’s when I get time to do things. My guess on horsepower is staring at a 225 net HP E7 motor.Better breathing heads cam intake at least 40hpCompression a full point the book says 30hp Other helpers exhaust, pulleys a/c & s/p delete elect/fan etc. another 25-30 hpAbout a 100hp gain.Id say it’s safe to say 300 but hope its 325.But I don’t know. rebuilt my motor Reply #9 – December 11, 2007, 04:56:37 PM For gears I'd go with 3.73s. My combo is almost the same as yours (I have a different cam) and it really likes the 3.73 gears Quote Selected
rebuilt my motor Reply #10 – December 11, 2007, 09:01:28 PM Now all you need to do is junk those shorty headers and go with a set of long-tubes. :hick: Looking good...get some slicks and gears in that T/C rear and use that transbrake...I want to see what this thing will run! Quote Selected
rebuilt my motor Reply #11 – December 11, 2007, 09:18:25 PM ditto on the valve covers, May I ask where they came from? Quote Selected
rebuilt my motor Reply #12 – December 12, 2007, 05:25:03 AM Quote from: HAVI;192286ditto on the valve covers, May I ask where they came from?Stock stang ones cleaned and painted w/aluminum engine paint. There is no way I’m paying 140 for a set and it is going to give me no performance gain Quote Selected
