an idea for the marketplace sections??

I've seen several posts where sellers/buyers don't put in their location and other details, and was wondering if there was a way the info had to be a requirement before the post could be made?

Example: after the person had the post typed out, a box would popup and verify a location. (or something on that order)

I know location means a lot to me as far as being interested in driving to pick up parts/car or whatever.

Just a suggestion..:hick:

Seriously, I think we should write into Vbulletin tell them that if they ever make a script/addon that does such task, to call it the "Chuck W script"

I think a script that sends an electric shock to the sack of those folks who fail to provide the proper info would be sufficient.

I mean we can be sure to include the warning about it in the rules, I'm sure they'll read it. ;)

I've just made it so new members have to fill out the "location" field when joining, and that any existing members will have to add it (if not already filled out) whenever they try to change anything in their profile...
