Doors???

I have an 88 blue max with what look to be speaker enclosures in the kick panels on the door is that what they are??? If so how do i get those stupid panels off so i can put something loud in there.

You have to remove the arm rest then remove the door panel.

There are I think 2 screws that hold the arm rest on. Remove them then slide the arm rest back. It should then come off.

The door panel is held on by push clips and there are alot of them.

If I remember right there are 2 screws in the door panel near the bottom as well. And you also have to take off the cover that hides the side mirror wires.

Plus:
Window crank (for manual windows).
The plastic plate around the door handle.
Screws behind the rubber plugs in the pull strap.

There is also a short screw on the outer seam towards the top of the panel.

I have better luck working with plastic parts in warm weather.

one of these works great on the clips. :)
