Post count October 02, 2007, 12:58:39 PM See a bunch of changes happening lately, how about getting rid of the post counts too? I'm really interested to see if it makes a difference at all.Opinions? Quote Selected

Post count Reply #3 – October 02, 2007, 04:32:21 PM Post counts are needed for administrative purpose....there's no way to do without them. There might be a way to make them invisible, I don't know. Quote Selected

Post count Reply #8 – October 02, 2007, 06:36:49 PM Getting rid of post count should only be considered if its an issue, and not a single person has mentioned it until now. Quote Selected
Post count Reply #9 – October 02, 2007, 06:41:46 PM It honestly never has bothered me. What's wrong with a post count? Quote Selected
Post count Reply #10 – October 02, 2007, 07:30:55 PM I have never seen any evidence of people posting just to up their count. This forum does not have "ranks" that change with post counts, so it is to nobody's advantage to bump their numbers. The "post ws" are whoring because they like to hear themselves talk (see themselves type?), not to make big numbers...We could make it so that posts in certain sections don't count toward the post counts, but again, I see no reason to do so. Post count Reply #11 – October 02, 2007, 07:58:38 PM It would be cool if posts in the lounge didn't count, then it might give some meaning to how much one actually contributes to the forum. Probably wouldn't do much good at this point, but it was just an idea. And it rained ALL day here Quote Selected

Why does it bother you so much anyway? Let them ws do their whoring. The rest of us know who they are. They will receive their comupance one way or another.:D Oh and you should invest in an umbrella:hick: Quote Selected
