A Taurus fan will be plenty. There's a write up on the whole swap on the FordMuscle forumThey said the fan was even good enough that one of the guys uses one on his supercharged 5.0.They tested it in some wicked extreme heat and let it idle with the a/c for quite some time for a real world test.I have two of them in my garage along with a Mark VIII fan.I grab them when I can.

Alrighty, I got mine at advanced auto I guess. its 26 bucks and part # is 226206. It has a pre-set thermostat that will kick the fan on automatically, but, like Vinnie, I wired a switch to mine to make sure it is on all the time.

Just a though but......I still have the clutch fan. I replaced my stock clutch with a HD (police spec) type. Really it works quite well. When it's 90* out and I have the A/C on 70* the temp never goes above 4 bars. If you can find a HD clutch for the 3.8 (the one I picked up for my 5.0 was ~$45) you might be surprised at how well it works. I also still have the stock 2 core radiator. I'm wondering how well it will work with a 3 core:D

Yea, on one of the MarkVIII write ups they show you how to put a key on ign switch trigger in. :hick:
I went the the advance website and entered the item number, It came up with: "Imperial Radiator Fan Motor part#226206 - $35.99" is that the correct part?

Hmm i'll look into it, thanks.

And does anyone know how much air this:

moves? are it if it moves more or less than a single taurus or MarkVIII assy or has better circulation?

It's the Taurus SHO shroud fan setup, The little fan almost looks reversed?... I should head up to the junkyard and see if that '89 SHO is still there.

Hows a '96 Mustang Electric Fan compared to a taurus? would it even fit?

Well i picked up an E-Fan, No clue if it can get it to fit/work... But it was so beefy and tempting. :hick:

As i was getting kicked out of the yard (closing time lol), I passed that 94 Ford Probe i got the spoiler off of last time, Someone had been playing around in the engine and the Electric Fan was hanging over the  side of the engine bay... And  was that a badass looking fan... I quickly grabbed it up.

I'm not sure if it's aftermarket or not, The car had alot of performance stickers and a few aftermarket engine parts.

But it looks just like this:

Anyone know if i should even bother getting this work in my 'Bird?
