1987 T-Bird AEROBIRD-GT had many many mods but is now totaled and is the car that made me want to start customizing everything all over again.

Couple of observations for those that might be considering the purchase:

- It is missing the trunklid cover panel, as all 1985-86 LS models had those. At least, it's missing in the photo. Would have to inquire about that.

- The CAR CRAFT badge is missing from the trunklid in the photo.

- The new weatherstripping needed...most of it is available through JC Whitney. BEARMAX just went through that with his convertible. I have part numbers for everything; shouldn't cost much (under $100 US).

- I broke my glass rear window also. It sucked. Having that small of a back window is definitely not good...you have absolutely enormous blind spots with the top up. If the roof cannot be repaired (tear) and has to be replaced, a larger back window opening CAN be created. That's exactly what I did.

- This car has the slip-under boot system like mine. Some of the earlier convertibles had the snaps on the perimeter chrome piece.

- Looks like the A/C system has been kept up. It's got an R-134 conversion at the very least.

- It has the fairly rare Regatta Blue high-series door panels. Gorgeous.

Overall...nice car. Wish I had room for one more...I'd be all over it. But here's your chance if you've been wanting one. Yeah, it's got the V6, but so what...the top goes down. ;)

hmmm, Hey Eric, I'll make a deal with you... I have PLENTY of room to store it.... you buy it, I'll store it, and put all the repairs into it.  Just title it in my name, and we're all set! :D

BTW, my birthday is coming up soon... you love me, right? :D bats eye lashes

Hey Eric, if I bought it, would you go get it and hold it for me till I come down and pick it up?  Seriously.

RJ...what the hell are you going to do to it? Weld a roof back on? LOL

I wouldn't have the means to go get it. I'd be honored to hold it here, for as long as necessary though.
