Take another look at the engine bay. That, is not a mint car (might be wrong on that). Outside of that, it looks great. I wonder if it really has only 20,000 mile, or 120,000 and well taken care of.

As you can see from my original comment, I noticed something fishy right away. The way the engine bay looked just didn't seem right to me from the start. I am no mechanic, but I have had more than my fair share of cars that went past 100,000 miles. I also noticed, but did not mention the fact that it did not have a 6th full digit for miles as well. My yellow 86' is the first car I have ever owned that came with a sixth digit for miles, the last digit is always a tenth mile so it's not a full digit.

Hmmm...well...the interior seems to be in nice enough shape. The body, it's hard to tell with white. The engine bay seems to be the key to the mystery...it is really rusty in all the usual places on a higher-mileage car. I'm thinking if this original woman owner was "wealthy" enough, as the seller states, she'd have owned a Lincoln, not a Cougar, and would have had this car in a garage all the time. The way it looks now, the car has been outside for a looooooong time, has been driven in the rain (possibly the snow), has been allowed to sit for a while...none of this is good. The odometer does seem off. This seller would have to provide some really good documentation before I'm convinced. It's still a very nice car from the looks of it. But probably not worth what's being asked, and perhaps it's being misrepresented. Buyer beware. ;)

Look closely in the first pic just in front of the rear wheel underneath the side trim.....rust spot.  The engine bay has seen better days as well.  I'm guessing if those pictures were taken in more direct sunlight you would see more of what's going on body-wise with the car.  Also, what's with that stray red wire on the right side of the engine bay?
