Well, Ive got an update!  Sorry for the double post but Ive got some bird pics in this one too. and its kind of A LOT of pics.

Now, The story behind this is... My friends dad had a car dolly Me and Thunderbus had to borrow to s a couple cars. And on that adventure we saw this scoop in his garage. And thunderbus told the guy that he wanted it for a Kz 750 that thunderbus's dad had. The guy said if he could get that bike for 300$ he'd give him the scoop. Well we had told him about it before, and he really wanted it. And low and behold I had to tell him that his dad didnt want to sell the bike anymore. He got pissed and said no scoop for thunderbus. Later that night he asked me if I wanted it.... I said I't be nice, and he told me I could have it....BUT if it ended up on any of thunderbus's cars... he'd kill meh. sooooooo. here it is (not mounted) But it will be when the body work gets done.

AND!

C9 boss? that be?? 69 Torino? :D

Anyway. Heres the bird out of its 3 week hybernation and the cat.

Enjoy!

Dude that sucks (sorta you get a HO out of it though:D ). Didn't you just rebuild the engine about a year ago?

yeah he did but he put the wrong size bearings in it. :hick:

Yeah move the scoop out further on the hood.  That is the same part number off mine. Mine was of a '70 Mustang with a 351 in it.

Yeah, Im deffinatly going to be building my 331 up after I get the HO 5speed conversion done. Im like the freakin 302 PIMP of fort wayne. I have 6 or 7 almost complete motors.

'69 boss eh? Awesome. I MIGHT just have to make this functional. Especially with my future plans :D

Hey, no fair!,
Let's get back to the original subject of this thread.  I wanted to buy that car that BlackJack bought.  Claude and I played PM-tag about it several times just after he offered it for sale many months ago.  Last I heard he was keeping it until another car was ready, and after that, no replies to my PM's.  No fair!  I would go straight to the For Sale section every time I opened the page to see if he re-listed it.  Of course, my window of opportunity when it comes to $$ comes and goes like the wind, but man, at the time I had the dough and that was the car I wanted.  So now somebody has to come up with another decent '83-'86 Cougar within a reasonable distance and in good shape.

Really, congratulations on the car, but just to make me feel better, I hope you cook for awhile without A/C in this lovely "warm" weather.
