Finally!! D1 drifting photos!! Reply #3 – August 13, 2007, 08:30:08 AM in hawaii there's a guy that drifts his boxy z28 (the square camaros) and theres also a guy that drifts (or at least drifted) an elcamino. the thing that me off, which has prolly changed since von gettin won the D1 with the mustang, but american cars would get booed just for the fact they're american. The fact that the thunderbird has such a long wheelbase, it'd make a smooth easy drift car. i saw a bunch of cobra/302s try to qualify and it seemed the cars were overpowered P/W Ratio, and the wheelbase was too short b/c thier spins were always violent.from what i've seen in person, the sport grows 50% per year, getting bigger and bigger. I've been secretly planning a TC drift car for a couple of years now. I just havent had the time or money since my Blue Max is eating copious amount of both right now. My whole thng about the TC is beating the ricers at their own game, 4 cylinder + turbo + RWD ya know. Quote Selected

What if they have their kid in the car? I know if you screwed up and hit my car I'd clean the pavement with your face. Just get in tight with someone who has a private parking lot or ideally a race track and go that route. Quote Selected
