I've got them on my '88 T-Bird.They look great.I'd opt for the 17x9 in the rear, and 17x8 for the ffront (i have 17x9 all around).I had to space my fronts out a tiny bit due to width. They look great, really fit the look I like and the look I'm working towards with this car.I'll try to get pics soon.I think under the members rides section, maybe here in the lounge, there's a thread back a ways that shows some pics.I'll see if I can find them and send you that way.My computer is down,so no new pics.I'm at work right now (shhhhhhhh, don't tell anyone).

right on, man.  that was going to be my next question, about which size to get.  i've had lots of tc's but never really modded them at all.  i put all the money into the ranger. lol.

Or he'd kill the bird.

If you go 5 lug,10.5 inch rear wheels are a great way to go but if you have 4 lug,17x9 for the Cobra R wheels are as wide as it gets.I had thought about doing the 5 lug swap, buty decided that 17x9 is good enough for me.

Well it seems that there is a place to get 17x10.5 in 4 lugs. I happened to just stumble upon this website that has 17x10.5 4 Lug replicas. I dont know how people feel about them being replicas(i personally dont care) or if the wheels are made well though.
On a side note which backspace do you have? They have 2 different versions of the 17x9s I wonder if one would fit the front better.

Edit: No silver version though only chrome plated
