83 T-Bird face lift

these are some pics of the progress on my 83 T-bird. I took it to the body shop in the middle of june somtime.I made the mistake of telling him that I am in no hurry to get it back,so it is taking alot longer then I thought it would.

Anyway,it looks like me and the car are not going to make it to CJ.If I do decide to go,I will not have the car with me,but would really like to see alot of the cars that will be there.

well these are the pics as of today.............enjoy,all you pic ws

Sorry to hear that you won't make it to CJ...I feel for you. Hopefully perhaps the result will be well worth it. I'll be going to CJ, ratty clearcoat and all, and dropping it off at the paint shop as soon as I get back.

Sucks that you can't make it with your car...but you're less than an hour away from Cat Jam. Surely you can bum a ride off someone.

And I sure hope you're keeping that wikked-cool AAA sticker on your trunklid. ;)

Just another update and more pics. I just got back from the body shop to check on the car. He will be spraying it tomorrow and I should be getting it back Sunday.
After leaving the body shop,I look in the rear view and what do I see, a 4 eye Tbird behind me. It looked to be in real nice shape, the only bad thing was,it had side pipes on it...........blaaaaah.

anyway these are the pics

Norton masking paper, some pricey stuff. Back onto the subject, looking good. Painting it the same color?

Yes,same color.

he did have the hood all painted and it looked to be more like the true color (light charcoal).you could truly see the charcoal in the color.
