Not bad. I could afford it, not too far away... BUT I've learned to not dive into stuff with out knowing how bad it really is. I bring up the TC and how it didn't look too bad, but the strut towers were gone. Above all I gots no ebay account

Ended up not going through with it, as I had no way to get the car. Another reason I'm not even going to think about this one

No doubt!
I understand that in some areas rust is just something you live with and get used to, but not being from one of those areas I look at something like that and think “no way!!”
I was mentioning that to Michael the other day when he, Ted and I had our birds at PIR for the drags, no noticeable rust on any of them.

If you guys are ever in the market for another fox you might consider the cost of a train(or bus) ticket, then the fuel to get it home, and come up here to Washington (or other less rusty places) and drive one home rust free.

If it doesn't have white leather seats in  nice condition, a goo grey headliner/sun visors, or a bitchin set of white powder coated turbines, then I really don't need it. Aside from that , I'm just about squared away on stuff I "need" right now

Old, faded, torn white leather Fila steats FTL!!!!

Ok, to the best of my knowlage, the white leather is a FILA package thing. I haven't found another fox Bird'/Cat with them. And I wana replace with white leather if possable. Now even a stang white leather set would work for me, and I might have a set lined up at that

In the great Heavily Salted areas of the US & Canada, that is not a bad deal at all. Really. It's just a cosmetic thing to NON-car people, and there are plenty out here. Everything works, then it's a good car in these parts. You guys have no idea how much trouble it is to keep rust off our cars, and I'm in SW, Ohio, we have salted roads for weeks at a time every Winter. When I had the fuel pump replaced on my 88' that I bought in Louisiana, I gotta a call asking, "YOU KEEP THIS GARAGED DON'T YOU". They just couldn't believe there was almost no rust under the car. I have no garage.....just one more year, or less maybe and it will stay in the garage.

Some of you would probably go beat the  out of the owner of the junkyard i go to if you saw the condition of some of the 'birds and 'cougs they s or cars in general, And that you ARE NOT allowed to purchase in full or the whole frame and such.

Such as the Heritage and XR-7 currently down here, The Heritage just had some cosmetic/vandal damage and the XR-7... I'm not sure why it's there... Not one spot of rust or damage that i could see on the body anywhere.
