yeah,  thanks for changing the size...how do you do that? I more of a mech than a computer guru....as you can see. I guess I am a little rusty on the photo shrinking thing.

I used the Image Resizer tool from the Power Toys from Windows. It's pretty nifty. Just select the pic(s) you want to resize, right-click and select one of three sizes.

How hard is it to get a TC Cluster to work for a non TC Car anyway?

It's not.  You have to repin the connector a little and add at least one for the tach signal.  My car was not a TC....

Well, the boost gauge doesn't work, as I am sure you know, but back in 96 to get the tach to finally work I took it to an electrician to make up a circuit board to convert the tach to read a V8. I will take a picture of it to show you if it will help you at all. They always say never send a mechanic to do an electricians job. I didn't even attempt it.

As tempting as it would be to have something like that in my car, I'm OCD, so it would bug the heck outta me to have a random boost guage that doesn't work.  At the very least I'd probably like pull the needle off and try to make a new guage face that doesn't have the boost markings on it.  Lol.  Honestly I'd probably just pay Eric to make me a cluster like his though ;) .

Dude that thing is sick!  What wheels does it have?  What are the specs on the motor?

I love this recent surge of badass 4-eyes we are getting.

Well, the motor is out of a 90 Crown Vic, 302 ho, board .030 over with an overly mild cam in it. C-4 trans with a full manual-reverse valve body turns the ford 9" rear, with trac loc, strange axles. Also has sub-frame connectors. The car used to have a 460 in it, but when gas reached $1.25 or so I took it out for sake of saving money.  Should have left it. The wheels are some old Cragars. I need to get them either rechromed, or replaced with something else. they are starting to peel and rust.

Yeah now if gas came down to $1.25 everyone would be driving around with 460's...or 502's.... or 572's... or bigger.

Of course I myself would have preferred to keep your TC a TC, especially being an early one. But lets not get into that. Its your car, and it looks good.

There is no boost "gauge" on the 83-84 clusters, just a light.

I'm still looking at the converting the tach to work for 6 and 8 cyl cars.

As far as the "write-up" goes to swap clusters...grab a manual and compare pin-outs....it's not rocket science.
