v6-v8 swap

what's up guy's,, quick question, how hard is it to swap a (86) 5 0 into a (86) v6 car?? got a 86 5.0, aod from a past junker, and i may purchase a 86 with a blown v6 for 65.00, good shape needs right front fender (got one).any special things will i need to do the swap?? computer? exhaust?etc. thanks for any replys

youll need the computer, wiring harness, the 5.0 exhaust manifolds should bolt up to the 3.8 exhaust if i remember correctly, throttle, TV and cruise control cables, all the underhood bracketrey, and a bunch of small stuff

if you can get, both cars, the V6 and V8 cars, and use the V8 car as a parts car

That's the way to do it.I bought the Mark VII for $400,and that was cheaper than buying all of the parts seperately to do the H.O. swap.I had my headers,exhaust,engine,computer (which I'm changing for a Mustang unit),and all of the little bits.I say get the car and go for it.Good luck.
