OK I see the problem... Look again at the color description on the window sticker... It says cloth-vinyl... I don't see any vinyl interior... I have seen TCs with the raven interior and leather(at least I thought it was leather) that had grayish seats, but that car surely has the std all cloth seats...

Makes no real difference I ain't buying it... Don't much like the medium red(I had one), or the gray interior and I defiantly don't like 'em together...

All of those interiors are identical. It's all in the lighting. Bring your car inside in Halogens like the ebay car and suddenly the almost black Charcoal looks like washed out grey. If you parked all of the above TC's in the same spot, they'd all look the same.

Sorry I ain't believing that ebay Tc has black interior, for the reasons I listed in my reply to Paul(thundergrowl)

It seems as if the difference is in the TC and Sport interior. My Sport has the light grey door panels like this pic you posted.

"I don't think so... Notice the lock/unlock panel on the door and the door gasket, those are clearly black... Also the light switches, A/C vents and inst cluster, etc. are black... If it were a lightened pix, I'd thing everything would have a similar appearance..."

The picture isn't lightened. The LIGHTS in the building are Halogens, and make everything "different". All of the "black" panels in the interior are supposed to be black when new.

No other Thunderbird/Cougar interior from 85-88 looks even remotely close to Charcoal/Raven 2-tone so there is nothing to swap with.

88sportcoupe, That's the Smoke Grey interior. Everything in the interior is the same color except for the top of the dash and the plastic trim that's always Charcoal.

Charcoal/Raven is the only 2-tone grey interior.

IIRC, Sports only had the Raven seats...the dashes were still Smoke Grey, as well as the rest of the interior panels, and had the non-TC door panels. At least for 1988, anyhow.

The only Fox Thunderbird or Cougar to get any kind of super dark-grey interior parts is the 1987-88 Turbo Coupe. They're almost black, not quite, but much darker than 1983-85 Charcoal interior parts. The official name of the super-dark color is, not surprisingly, Raven. The dash was also all painted in the dark Raven color. The contrasting color in the middle of the seats and door panels on a cloth interior is Smoke Grey perforated cloth. In that respect the photos look correct on that car, at least to me. I would say that there was no reason to change those panels...but considering what else was changed on the car, who knows. ;)

Tom, the "cloth/vinyl" refers to the covering on whole seat...cloth where you sit, vinyl on the back part facing the back seat. The all-leather Raven seats look drastically different from the cloth ones.
