1988 Cougar LS; Winterized 23/12/07 Reply #110 – August 10, 2007, 09:02:41 PM I put a new Mercury emblem on the trunk lid today, I used Goo Gone to get the old sticky off, after I put the new emblem on I noticed it stripped the black paint off the taillight and after that it ran down and left lines on my bumper trim. It also left white lines down the tailight! This frecking sucks! That taillight was in pristine condition, no black paint flaking off or anything! Quote Selected

1988 Cougar LS; Winterized 23/12/07 Reply #114 – September 06, 2007, 09:49:38 PM I had the resonator removed and some kick ass chrome tips put on, its not that loud but the engine is stock so I don't want to have a really loud system with a stock motor. It would be kind of faking it. I took pics but my laptop ped out on me and I had the driver on that computer and not on my desktop (which is what I'm using right now), I also didn't tint my windows yet as I have been spending money maybe a little too much on my girlfriend. I'm torn between the two, car or girl lol. I'll borrow a camera from my friend and maybe get an exhaust clip up. Quote Selected

1988 Cougar LS; Winterized 23/12/07 Reply #117 – November 09, 2007, 12:25:50 PM Not much to report. I installed the other piece of the radio surround, put in my door speakers and thats about it. Did a py repaint job on the front trim, I'll do it again with the proper semi-gloss paint this time. I also found out yesterday when it first snowed that 235s in the front are not good for traction, I'll take off the ten holes and put some winter tires on before it snows even more. Quote Selected
