Diff paint combo Reply #4 – May 12, 2007, 04:17:06 PM I think the charcoal color on the bottom would look good, but I'd leave the mirrors black.Just leave the charcoal on the body, not the other parts.Polish the black plastic mirrors to a high shine and call it good. Quote Selected
Diff paint combo Reply #5 – May 12, 2007, 08:32:11 PM I painted the lower half of my old light sage green '85 T-Bird grey after doing body work to it and it looked great. I also plan on doing the lower half of my white '88 in grey when I paint it. I actually made a thread about it, floating a few ideas a few months ago:http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?t=12588I think these cars were made for two-tone. Ford must have thought so too, as they did just that with the 87 XR7's (and the Fila). A few simple line drawings of some of my ideas for my car: Quote Selected

Diff paint combo Reply #7 – May 12, 2007, 08:56:38 PM Nope. For that I'd need a time machine (haven't actually painted it yet). I don't have any pics of the '85 either, if that's what you meant - I owned that car back when we had to walk ten miles uphill both ways to get on the internet... Quote Selected
